Drama

In the past few years drama has started to flourish in the school. The Transition year students now all take a module in drama. This has helped improve their confidence and also their public speaking techniques. The class of 2009-2010 were very ambitious and took on the play ’12 Angry Men’. They took part in the Briery Gap Drama Competition and got through to the all Ireland finals, also winning individual acting awards. Last years transition year group also took part in the competition performing an extract from ‘Philadelphia Here I Come!’ and ‘The Box of Oblivion’. Hopefully this years groups will be equally successful!
