Welcome to the website of Coláiste Éamonn Rís, also known as Wexford CBS!

I’m School Principal, Michael McMahon and I’m thrilled to have you here. Our school has been serving the community since 1849, providing an education to the young men of Wexford. As proud members of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST), we uphold the values of excellence and holistic development.

At Coláiste Éamonn Rís, we believe in fostering a well-rounded educational experience, encompassing both academics and extracurricular activities. Our impressive range of sports teams, clubs and groups are a testament to our committed staff and students. In 2023, we proudly claimed the title of All-Ireland Senior Soccer Champions, and in 2025, we triumphed as the U17 All-Ireland Soccer Champions.

Moreover, we offer exciting opportunities for educational trips to captivating destinations such as Zambia, New York, and even exhilarating skiing adventures in Italy and other remarkable locations across Ireland and Europe.
